An attack on a military base foiled north of Baquba

Baquba, The Security forces responded to an attack launched by Daesh organization on a military base stationed north of Baquba.

Head of the Local Council of Al-Edhaim area Mohammed al-Obeidi told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today that Daesh terrorist gangs launched late on last night an attack on a military post stationed near the villages of Shadhef and Al-Salama in the outskirts of Al-Edhaim north of Baquba.

He added that the security forces managed to thwart the attack and to confront the terrorists with all courage and pursue them to the depth of nearby valleys without casualties.
