An Employee Killed On His Way To Work West Of Basra

Basra, A staff member was killed in an armed attack as he headed for work at a liquid gas station in Khor al-Zubayr west of Basra.

A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): "An employee working in liquid gas station was shot today by a person riding speeding car does not carry registration plates."

He added: "The employee was shot several times by a pistol, hit him in the head while he was in his car, when he was going to work."

The source said: "Police arrived at the site of the incident and carried out the investigation procedures as the body was transferred to forensic medicine."
