Aoun meets Shebaa delegation, vows endeavors to recuperate occupied land

President Michel Aoun met at Baabda palace on Friday with a delegation of the Committee of Arqoub and Shebaa Farms, to whom he vowed to endeavor to recuperate this occupied border land.

"We shall spare no effort to recuperate our land and to give it back to its owners. Your land is a Lebanese one; its residents are Lebanese and the properties belong to Lebanese citizens," he underlined.

Separately, Aoun held talks over the current economic and financial situation in the country with head of the Economic Committees Mohammad Choucair, chairman of the Association of Banks in Lebanon Joseph Torbey, and president of the Union of Mediterranean Confederation of Enterprises Jacques Sarraf.
