Atallah says things will move forward within next few days

MP Georges Atallah on Thursday voiced support to the appeal of the Maronite Bishops Council to accelerate the formation of the government, especially as Lebanon faces many challenges.

Interviewed by the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker also predicted things to move forward within the coming few days, coupled with an intensified political activity.

However, the MP noted that the standoff between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces was far from being over.

"The LF is complaining from a non-existent state of injustice. This party is raising its voice to ensure a broader representation than it deserves in the next government.
