Bahrain qualifies to the World Junior Handball Cup

Bahrain National Junior Handball Team has qualified to the World Cup finals, which will be held next year in Spain. Bahrain booked a spot in the World Cup finals after beating Saudi Arabia 29-28 to finish third in the 2018 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship, being held in Oman.

Bahrain took part in the World Men's Junior Handball Cup twenty years ago. In 1998, it made history when it qualified to the World Cup finals after clinching the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship, which was held then in Bahrain.
