Hilali: Appeals Stage Begins After Publishing The Election Results In Local Newspapers

BAGHDAD, A member of the legal committee in the former parliament, Ibtisam al-Hilali said, "the appeals against the results announced on Thursday will begin after publishing the results in three local newspapers in Arabic and Kurdish."

Al-Hilali told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) "the stage of appeals takes 14 days starting from the date of publication of the results in the newspapers;" indicating that "appeals should be submitted to the Board of Commissioners and referred to the judiciary of the elections."

Hilali added that the Commission is sending final lists to the Federal Supreme Court to ratify them, "noting that" there is no specific time limit for this action. "

The commission of assigned judges to the Electoral Commission announced on Thursday the results of the manual counting and sorting of stations.
