Minister of Industry Discusses With His Saudi Counterpart The Paragraphs Of The Program And Strategy For Developing Industry And Future Plans

Baghdad, Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, discussed with the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef the paragraphs of the National Industry Development Program

According to a statement by the Ministry, the meeting was held via the Internet and included discussion of the steps and paragraphs included in the program for developing the national industry and logistics services, achieving future plans for the year 2030, focusing on the goals required to create a strong economy, and other common topics and files.

Al-Khabbaz referred to the Ministry of Industry’s plans and endeavors to develop the Iraqi industry by benefiting from the experiences of brotherly and neighboring countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to attracting specialized and sober companies to take advantage of the investment opportunities available to the ministry to achieve the goal of advancing the Iraqi industrial sector and creating job opportunities for youth.

He stressed: The need for continuous work and coordination with the Saudi side by holding meetings on an ongoing basis to discuss important details and the most important problems and obstacles facing the work of these plans, stressing the importance of the relationship for being good and continuous to achieve the goals that serve the two countries and the Iraqi and Saudi peoples.

For his part, the Saudi minister gave a detailed presentation of the plans and program for the development of the industry, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is working to achieve continuous strategies by promoting the required goals, developing the economy, relying on government support and establishing new industries that have a major role in the advancement of the industry.
