Oil prices fall due to investor anxiety about increasing cases of COVID-19 around the world

Washington, Oil prices declined today, influenced by investor anxiety about an increase of COVID-19 cases worldwide.
Brent crude contracts ended lower by 19 cents, or 0.4 percent, to settle at $ 43.22 a barrel.
The US benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude contracts fell 56 cents, or 1.4 percent, to settle at $ 41.04 a barrel.
