The Presidency Of The Parliament And Political Blocs Have Not Agree So Far On The Mechanism Of Presidency Of Parliamentary Committees
Baghdad, Member of the House of Representatives, Hisham al-Suhail confirmed that "the presidency of the parliament and political blocs have not yet agreed on the mechanism of the Presidency of parliamentary committees, which were formed yesterday."
"There are several scenarios about the presidency of the parliamentary committees, including the sharing of presidencies between the political blocs or leave the freedom of MPs within the committees by to choose," Suhail told NINA.
He added that "this matter will become clear during the coming sessions and so far there is no agreement on a certain MP to preside any parliamentary committee."
The House of Representatives voted in its session on Saturday on the formation of 22 parliamentary committees.
