Al-Abadi directed not to politicize the popular crowd and not to move any of its formations except in coordination with joint operations
BAGHDAD, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider Al-Abadi directed not politicize the popular crowd and not to move any of its formations without coordination with the Command of Joint Operations.
According to a document issued by the Prime Minister's Office, the Prime Minister, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, canceled the contents of two letters of the Popular Crowd No. 1388, on August 2, 2018 and 1339 on 18, and the need to comply with the law and instructions not to politicize the popular crowd.
Al-Abadi directed also, according to the document, not to cancel or develop formations until after obtaining the approval of the Commander-in-Chief, otherwise the relevant parties bear legal responsibility. No form of movement is moved without full coordination with the Joint Operations Command and obtaining the approval of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
