Bahrain to showcase housing strides in New York
Bahrain's housing strides will be showcased tomorrow, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the International Peace Institute (IPI) in New York, in the United States.
The Ministry of Housing will be holding a discussion session themed Decent, Secure and Affordable Housing, Cornerstone of Sustainable Development.
The event will on the sidelines of the presentation of Bahrain's Bahrain's first voluntary report to implement the goals of sustainable development 2030.
Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa tomorrow will chair Bahrain's high-level delegation at the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development to be held on July 16-18 in New York.
Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al-Hamer will outlined Bahrain's strides and the ministry's strenuous efforts and dedicated plans to provide citizens with decent housing.
He will also shed light on Bahrain's ambitious plans to constructed new world-standard towns in line to the 11th Sustainable Development Foal set by the United Nations as part of the 2030 Agenda.
