First Deputy Speaker Calls On New Zealand Companies To Contribute In The Reconstruction Of Iraq

BAGHDAD, First Deputy Speaker Hassan al-Kaabi called on the New Zealand companies to contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq.

A statement issued by the Information Office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said, "Al-Kaabi met on Thursday with the New Zealand Ambassador Bradley Sawden, and during the meeting, they discussed the progress of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in all areas, especially parliamentary ones."

Kaabi called on the New Zealand companies to contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq and to benefit from the security stability witnessed by the country, in addition to continuing to remove the mines until completion, stressing the need to expand the seats for Iraqi students in New Zealand, and develop academic-cultural cooperation between the two countries. "
