Iranian passengers with narcotics arrested in the port of Shalamjah
BAGHDAD, The Border Crossing Authority announced the arrest of Iranian passengers carrying narcotics in Shalamjah.
A statement issued by the Authority said in a statement that "Iranian passengers were arrested with their possession narcotic drugs" heroin "in the border port of Shalamjah in the province of Basra.
"The first passenger has (13.9 g) and the second passenger (44.8 g) in cooperation between the detachment of the Shalamjah Custom police station and the protection of the port inside the passenger lounge."
He pointed out that "the passengers were referred to the Division of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in the Shatt al-Arab according to a fundamental record to take the necessary legal action against them."
