Minister of Media: 800 media personnel from outside KSA and 151 media institutions and channels to cover Hajj rituals
Jeddah, The Minister of Media Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad has expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, for continuing efforts of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing best services and security for all those who come to this blessed land, in addition to harnessing all resources and potentials to facilitate the performance of Hajj and access to Holy Sites for all Muslims without any discrimination.
He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes all Muslims in the world to perform this religious rite, stressing its categorical rejection of attempts to politicize or use Hajj for purposes of disturbing this worship.
This came during a visit to the headquarters of the Ministry, Commissions of radio and television and the Saudi Press Agency and information centers in Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina, to be briefed on special preparations for receiving local and international media, and to provide appropriate mechanisms and equipment to transmit this great scene to all over the world.
