OIC Secretary-General Praises Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH Crown Prince Support
Cairo, Secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yusuf bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government support to OIC, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince.
In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) here today, in the context of a current visit to Egypt, to launch the 1st edition of OIC festival, which Cairo plays host to, under the motto: Palestine is at Heart, the secretary general said that OIC is entertaining a big and generous support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince, pointing out that the OIC constitutes the vocal and inclusive organ to voice out the Islamic nation stance to the world, as a one nation with diverse cultures.
OIC is proud of having its headquarters, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he added, as it is the land that embraces the Two Holy Mosques.
He noted that the Kingdom keenness to back up the festival, in its 1st edition, is a further reiteration of supporting joint Islamic action, at all levels, in addition to cement OIC member states intra-cooperation bonds.
