Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih Al-Najari, held a reception at his home in Dohat Al-Hoss, in honor of the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation of Egypt, Sahar Nasr, who is visiting Lebanon to participate in the fourth session of the Egyptian-Lebanese Business Forum hosted by Beirut, in the presence of ranking dignitaries.
Al-Najari confirmed, in a word he delivered on the occasion, the depth and distinctiveness of the "relations between the two countries on the economic level, same as on the level of political ties."
"We are trying to strengthen these relations given the fact that the Lebanese investments in Egypt are ranked eighth among different countries, and trade relations between the two countries are large. We are trying to further deepen this relationship and attract Egyptian investors to the market in Lebanon which has major future projects, after the formation of the government which we hope will happen soon," he said.
"The Egyptian-Lebanese Association for Businessmen plays a great role in supporting the economic relations between the two countries. We also have the Egyptian-Lebanese Business Council headed on the Egyptian side by the dear friend Ahmed Al-Suwaidi, and on the Lebanese side by MP Nazih Najm," the diplomat added.
