Arab Parliament Pays Tribute to Masam Countermine Project in Yemen

Cairo, The Arab Parliament has paid tribute to countermine project (Masam) in Yemen launched by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) for the Protection of Civilians, demanding the United Nations to take urgent and practical measures to make Yemen clear from mines.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Dr. Mish'al Al-Salami, said in a press statement today that the parliament voted in its plenary session Yesterday on its draft resolution on appreciation of the countermine project in Yemen, launched by the Center and its demanding of the United Nations to evacuate Yemen from mines laid by Houthi Coup Militias.

The Arab Parliament expressed its appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this qualitative and humanitarian initiative to save civilian lives from the dangers of internationally prohibited mines.
