Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Russian Foreign Minister
Riyadh, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah palace here today the Foreign Minister of Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov.
The Minister conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the King, while the King sent his greetings to the President.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, and latest regional and international developments.
The audience was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the Interior; Minister of State and Cabinet Member, Dr. Musaad bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Member Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Assistant Special Secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Tamim bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem.
On the Russian side, it was attended by the Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov; Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sergey Kozlov; Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Alexander Kinshchak and a number of other officials.
