Halat Ammar Customs Foils Attempts to Smuggle over SR250,000, in Cash, 75,000 Rounds of Air-rifles, into KSA

Riyadh, Halat Ammar customs' station thwarted attempts to smuggle cash into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) worth SR251,200, in addition to 75,000 rounds of air-rifle (SACTON), found inside two vehicles coming through the crossing, into the country.

Nationally applied regulations stipulate that every traveler, outgoing or incoming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, carrying with him cash or precious metals exceeding SR60,000 shall make a declaration of assets or holdings through disclosure by filling out customs' declaration form as non-acknowledgment would constitute a clear violation by the holder.
