Kassem Hashem: No government without Sunni opposition representation
"The continuation of contacts does not mean that things have been settled," said MP Kassem Hashem in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon 93.3 radio station. "The complications that have become known are still there, and no progress has been recorded so far."
"The meetings of the independent Sunni deputies are neither emergency nor novelty. Such meetings started before the parliamentary elections and before the designation of PM Saad Hariri," he said, noting that "representing the Sunni opposition is a right recognized by all the political forces.
"The attempts to distort the truth cannot continue. There is no government without Sunni opposition representation," Hashem stressed.
