Tueni, ambassador of Argentina talk trade exchange, anti-corruption plans
Caretaker Minister of Anti-Corruption Affairs, Nicolas Tueni, received the Argentine Ambassador to Lebanon, Mauricio Alice, with whom he discussed trade exchange between Argentina and Lebanon and the conditions of the Lebanese community in Argentina.
Discussions also touched on the stable security situation and the economic exchange between Lebanon and Argentina, with emphasis on the need to make this exchange equal in size, thus fair.
It was proposed to sign a trade exchange agreement, and other agreements in the field of economy, law and anti-corruption, and that another meeting will be held soon to complete the discussions.
The Argentinean ambassador expressed "his interest in helping Lebanon in the fight against corruption, especially as he worked in this field with the United Nations and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development."
