General Administration of Mujahideen in Jazan Apprehends Citizen Transporting Four Yemeni Border Security Violators

Riyadh: The General Administration of Mujahideen patrols in Jazan region have apprehended a citizen who was transporting four Yemeni border security violators in his vehicle. The violators were promptly apprehended, appropriate legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the competent authorities. The citizen involved in their transportation has also been referred to the Public Prosecution.

The administration’s official spokesperson emphasized that anyone found facilitating the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom, transporting them within the country, providing them with shelter, or offering any form of assistance or service to them will face severe penalties. These penalties can include up to 15 years of imprisonment, a significant financial fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transport and housing used for shelter, and public humiliation.

The spokesperson underscored that this crime is considered a major offence that warrants detention and v
iolates honour and integrity. The public is strongly encouraged to report any violations of residency, labour, and border security regulations by contacting 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Regions and 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom.
