Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque today launched a dedicated portal to receive applications from charitable organizations and individuals for Iftar meal services inside the Grand Mosque during the Ramadan 1446 AH season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the service allows applicants to select meal sites, with one meal site permitted per individual and up to ten sites for charitable organizations. The process necessitates contracting with one of the catering companies approved by the authority and strictly following the terms and conditions outlined on their website.
The authority has underscored the importance of providing low-calorie meals for individuals with chronic diseases and diabetes. These specialized meals must constitute 20% of the individual meals and 30% of those distributed by charitable organizations. Applications for this service can be submitted through the authority’s website at https://iam.alharamain.gov.sa/sso by choosing the “iftar meal reservation system.” Adherence to approved packaging guidelines is mandatory to ensure the quality and safety of the service.
