Bukhari says travel ban lifted
The Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Walid al-Bukhari, said after his meeting this Wednesday, along with Saudi envoy Nizar al-Alula, with PM Saad Hariri that "the ban on Saudis' travel to Lebanon will be lifted."
"Due to the lack of security reasons which initially prompted us to warn our nationals against visiting Lebanon, and given the reassurances we are hearing, we lift the ban on citizens traveling to Lebanon, said the ambassador.
"We offered congratulations to PM Saad Hariri and discussed several topics with him, the most important of which being the joint committee between the two countries and the need to send a delegation of experts to meet with their counterparts in Saudi Arabia," he said.
