Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Condoles Sultan of Oman on the Death of Sultan Qaboos, Congratulates him on Assuming the Reins of Power

Riyadh, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of condolences to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour, on the death of Sultan Qaboos, the King also congratulated the new Sultan on assuming the reins of power, in his country.

In his cable, the King said: We received with utmost sorrow the news of the death of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, we pray to the Al-Mighty Allah to bestow His mercy upon him and rest him in the paradise and provide you the patience and solace.

The King added that, We also congratulate Your Majesty on assuming the reins of power, in the fraternal Sultanate of Oman, praying that may Allah provide you with assistance and luck to continue the procession that incepted by the late Sultan. We also supplicate that my Allah provide Your Majesty with plenty of good health and the Sultanate of Oman further development, advancement and prosperity, in order to realize aspirations of the Omani people, under your wise leadership, as we anticipate to work with Your Majesty, in a way that would benefit the two fraternal countries and peoples, praying to Allah to save you against any harm or mischief.
