KSA Participates in Opening Ceremony of Muslims’ Pride Mosque in Chechnya
Grozny, The Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the "Pride of Muslims" Mosque in Shali city of the Republic of Chechnya.
He headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the ceremony.
He said that the construction of this great mosque, which is one of the landmarks of Europe, is a source of happiness.
This came in a televised statement to the Chechen Space Channel upon his arrival at Grozny International Airport, where he was received by Advisor to the President and the Supreme Mufti of the Republic of Chechnya, Salah Mezhiev, and a number of officials.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh conveyed the best wishes and congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to the Republic of Chechnya's leadership, government and people on the occasion of opening the mosque of Muslims' Pride, which is the largest of its kind in Europe.
