Lebanese Red Cross Thanks Saudi Red Crescent for its Participation in Designing Principles of Awareness of the Dangers of Weapons Contamination

Riyadh, The Saudi Red Crescent has received a cable of thanks from the Lebanese Red Cross Association for the former's active participation in the design of guidelines for risk education and the safest behavior related to conventional weapons and chemical, biological and nuclear radiation hazards, which was held in Beirut from 24 June to 3 July 2019 with the participation of 22 representatives from the Red Crescent and Red Cross organizations and associations in the Middle East and North Africa region.

We thank the Saudi Red Crescent for its active participation in designing of the guidelines published on The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) website by specialist Majid Al-Sihani, a representative of the Saudi Red Crescent to Disaster Management Advisory Group for weapons pollution in the Middle East and North Africa region, the association said in its statement.
