Shura Council Condemns Houthi Terrorist Attack on Abha International Airport
Riyadh, The Shura Council expressed its strong condemnation and denounciation of the terrorist attack by Houthi terrorist militias that targeted Abha International Airport, resulting in 26 civilian casualties including women and children.
This came in a statement of the Shura Council at the outset of its 45th ordinary session held here today under the chairmanship of Vice Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al-Mutani.
The statement stressed that the aggressive behavior of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia and its continuous launching of projectiles on the cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would no doubt increase the strength and firmness of the Saudi people, guided by their leadership, to foil such evil acts.
In this regard, the Shura Council reiterated its full confidence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's military might in confronting the aggression, in order to preserve the security, sanctities and prosperity of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince.
