Some 1,838,339 pilgrims arrive through all ports for Hajj 1440H., reports immigration authorities
Jeddah, The General Directorate of Passports announced that the number of pilgrims coming from abroad through all land, sea and air ports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this year's Hajj, amounted, till 16:00 p.m. today to 1,838,339
In a press conference held here, the Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya explained that the number of pilgrims arriving by air stood at 1,725,455, by land 95,634, and by sea 17,250.
Maj. Gen. Al-Yahya affirmed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, are keen to facilitate all entry measures for incoming pilgrims.
