Trump Orders New Financial Sanctions On Iran
BAGHDAD, US President Donald Trump said on Friday he had ordered new financial sanctions against Iran for its involvement in Saturday's attack on two Aramco oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia.
"We have just imposed sanctions on the National Iranian Bank," Trump said in the White House on Friday during a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
It is mentioned that the Houthi forces claimed the attack, which targeted two factories belonging to the "Saudi Aramco" company by drones on Saturday, which affected the production of the company for a period of time.
The United States has already imposed a wide range of sanctions against Iran since the Trump administration announced in May 2018, withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.
