World of today is in bad need for peaceful coexistence and living in peace
Cairo, The Secretary General of the Riyadh-based King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, stressed the importance of the first Arab meeting on the opportunities and challenges of coexistence, and joint action to respect diversity and accept pluralism under the umbrella of shared citizenship.
In a key speech during an international meeting held in Cairo today under the title "Dialogue of Arabs and Europeans peaceful coexistence .. opportunities and challenges", organized by the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services in cooperation with the network Oikosnet Europe and Sigtuna, he said hatered speech cannot be confined to a single religion, belief, or society, especially after some religious leaders and politicians used to exploit religion and politics to launch racist and extremist hatered speeches/
He called for confronting these speeches with courage, planning, coordination, cooperation, and continuous dialogue.
