Gunmen Assassinate Family Of 4 In Hawai al-Bassat, North of Samarra

BAGHDAD, Gunmen wearing military uniforms with light-weapons attacked a home of a family in Hawai al-Bassat, north of Samarra, killing four people, including the father and mother and two children, aged 13 and seven.

Brigadier Jabbar al-Saadi, director of Samarra district police, said the gunmen fled to an unknown destination after killing the family member by pick-up car, adding that the investigation was still underway with some eyewitnesses who testified that the crime were involved in committing criminal acts against citizens in the northern part of Samarra.
