Heritage Activities Introduce Visitors to Authentic Traditions at King Abdulaziz Camel Festival’s Tenth Edition

Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, in its tenth edition, is regarded as a cultural and economic carnival that enhances participation in national heritage and contributes to elevating it globally by showcasing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s deep-rooted cultural legacy. The festival highlights the place of camels in the hearts of Arabs from ancient times to the present day. Camels remain an enduring symbol of authentic Arab heritage, in addition to their value as a source of livelihood.

According to Saudi Press Agency, on its opening day, this year’s festival is witnessing a large turnout of camel enthusiasts and owners, along with followers of this longstanding heritage from around the world. The festival features several cultural activities, including the activities that shed light on the Kingdom’s heritage through various programs and competitions suitable for different categories. These include the traditional overnight experience at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, learning about camels and falcons and how to handle them, guest reception arts and preparing Saudi coffee, social and cultural competitions, learning to wear Saudi attire properly, and preparing traditional Saudi dishes, among others.

These programs are supervised by a specialized team and held within a professionally organized environment that ensures safety and accreditation.
