Jafari Endowments Directorate holds annual meeting

Chairman of the Jafari Endowments Council Shaikh Mohsin bin Al Shaikh Abdul Hussain Al Asfoor stressed that the directorate has completed its visions and study regarding upgrading the administrative structure. He said a comprehensive project has been submitted to the relevant parties to cater for present and future needs which, if approved, will bring about a historic progress in the endowment work.

Al Asfoor expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for their directives and unflinching support to develop the Jafari Endowments Directorate and its services. He also lauded the efforts of late Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa to serve the nation, pointing out constant work with the endowments directorates to solve problems.

The Jafari Endowments Council Chairman was speaking during the annual meeting of the Jafari Endowments Directorate for employees and to honour retirees in a first-of-its-kind initiative. The meeting was attended by around 200 persons, including the Endowments Council members, Acting Director Ali Mirza and the directorate's officials and employees.

Al Asfoor pointed out a strategic plan to develop the Jafari endowments, adding that the directorate has announced a monthly prize to be granted for one employee in tribute for his distinguished efforts. He noted that the prize, which starts from the outset of this year, will continue on monthly basis to motivate creativity and distinction in the directorate's work.
