Khalil follows up with Mirza World Bank projects

Finance Minister, Ali Hassan Khalil, received on Friday the Executive Director of the World Bank, Mirza Hassan, with an accompanying delegation.

Discussions featured high on projects funded by the World Bank in Lebanon, including those related to infrastructure, hospitalization, and education.

Khalil warned against delays cooperating with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which could expose Lebanon to losses, as financial contributions could be transferred to neighboring countries.

Finally, he welcomed the efforts of the Minister of Finance to accelerate the completion of several projects.
