Jordan’s FM holds talks with officials participating in WEF
Amman, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Saturday held talks with a number of his counterparts and officials participating in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, hosted by Jordan for the tenth time under the theme "Building New Platforms of Cooperation".
The talks dealt with the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing economic and investment cooperation. The meetings also tackled regional developments and efforts to resolve crises in the Middle East, foremost of which is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Safdie met with Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Investment Sigrid Kaag; Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs Tan Wu Mengof Singapore Tan Wu Ming; Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajcak; Minister for Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics; Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov; UAE Minister of State Ahmad Al Sayegh; Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of Oman Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah; Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine Riyad Al-Malki; and Joel Rayburn, Deputy Assistant Secretary and Special Envoy for Syria, US Department of State.
