Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hosts The First Round Of Bilateral Consultations Between Iraq And Spain
BAGHDAD The first round of political consultations between Iraq and Spain was held at the Foreign Ministry in Baghdad in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations.
"The two sides reviewed the relations between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields, Spain's role in the reconstruction of the liberated areas, and contribute to creating an investment environment in Iraq, where the Spanish delegation confirmed its country's commitment to support the Iraqi government and work together to serve the two friendly peoples.," foreign ministry statement said.
The head of the Department of Europe, Ambassador Bakr Fattah Hussein, chaired the Iraqi team in the consultations, while the Spanish delegation was headed by the Director General of the Department of Morocco, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Eva Martinez Sanchez.
