Bukhari inaugurates “Adahi” sacrificial meat distribution project to the underprivileged
Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, on Thursday inaugurated "Adahi" project to distribute sacrificial meat to the underprivileged, as part of the Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat, managed by the Islamic Development Bank, in cooperation with the Zakat Fund in Lebanon.
The inaugural ceremony took place at Dar Al Fatwa in Beirut's Verdun, attended by Information Minister, Jamal Al Jarrah, the Representative of the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Zakat Fund Director General Sheikh Zuhair Kibbi, and officials of Dar Al Fatwa and the Saudi Embassy.
Minister Jarrah hailed the Saudi initiative as "blessed and thankful," which comes within other plentiful initiatives and courteous gestures by the Saudi Kingdom to the Lebanese people, the displaced Syrians and the Palestinian refugees.
Jarrah also highlighted Saudi Arabia's permanent stand by Lebanon, hoping that the Saudi support for Lebanon and the Lebanese will continue.
