Head of Brazil’s foreign relations committee arrives in Beirut en route to Damascus
The Brazilian Senate's Foreign Relations Committee President, Fernando Collor, arrived at Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut this afternoon, heading a delegation from Brazil. The delegation is set to travel to the Syrian capital, Damascus, on an official visit that aims to closely inspect the situation and developments there.
The delegation was received at the airport by Brazil's Ambassador to Lebanon, Paulo Cordeiro, and Brazil's Ambassador to Syria, Fabio Pittaluga.
