Pakistan’s President Receives HRH Crown Prince 2 Islamabad
The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan delivered a speech in which he welcomed HRH Crown Prince and said that Pakistan is proud of its relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pointing out that Pakistan and the Kingdom are linked with deep-rooted brotherly relations based on common religious and cultural values.
He stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership have a special status in the hearts of the people of Pakistan, adding that HRH Crown Prince's visit will contribute to strengthening and enhancing relations between the two countries.
The President welcomed the formation of the Saudi-Pakistani Supreme Coordinating Council as a high institutional mechanism to implement decisions and agreements in the main areas of bilateral cooperation. He also affirmed Pakistan's support for the Kingdom's Vision 2030, pointing out that it will contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially economic and tourism fields.
He expressed his appreciation for HRH Crown Prince's efforts for reforms being witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields.
He praised the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to enhance cooperation in various fields, considering this as a result of the efforts of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Pakistan, pointing out that the cooperation and partnership between the two countries serve security and stability in the region.
The Pakistani President invited the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to visit Pakistan.
