Minister highlights autistic student integration

Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi highlighted the positive results of the experiment to integrate students with autism disorders in public schools, adding that the ministry intends during the next academic year 2018/2019 to add two new schools for the programme to integrate this group of students.

The minister expressed the ministry's pride in the spectacular success of the experience of integrating students of autism, despite numerous challenges that faced the process.

He said that Bahrain in the prosperous era of His Majesty the King pays great consideration to providing educational services that are distinguished and suitable for special needs students.

He also stressed the ministry's fruitful efforts in the field of integration of students with special needs contributed to make Bahrain in the list of countries that are distinguished internationally in providing Education for All and ranked first educationally in the Arab world for several years.
