Moreover, the OIC Secretary General has also commended the efforts being exerted by the Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen in coordination with the international community to secure continuing freedom of maritime navigation and international trade at Bab Al-Mandab Strait and maintain regional and international security.

Dr. Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC's support for the UN efforts to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis, to support the legitimate state's authorities and to provide more humanitarian and development assistance.

He also praised the support and humanitarian assistance being provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince.

Meanwhile, he called on all the Organization's Member States to continue to provide political, security, economic and financial support for the Yemeni government to address humanitarian challenges and reconstruction efforts.
