Bahrain-Egypt historic ties hailed
Manama, Arab Parliament Deputy Speaker MP Adel Al-Asoomi hailed deep-rooted historic relations between Bahrain and Egypt.
He saluted the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, commending strong cooperation and cordinal relations binding the two countries and peoples.
MP Al Asoomi, also Bahrain-Egypt Friendship Society Deputy Chairman, hailed the two countries' supportive stances which, he said, contributed to deepening official relations and yielding a shared vision towards regional issues.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and President el-Sisi, who consolidated political, economic abd security strategic partnership, bolstered mutudalcoordination, establishing a model to emulate for pan-Arab relations.
He valued Bahrain's support and solidarity with Egypt in confronting all forms of violence and terrorism, backing all measures it has undertaken to protect its security and stability, meet its people's aspirations and achieve sustainable economic and social development and progress.
He also lauded Egypt's honourable and unwavering stances in support of Bahrain and Arabian Gulf as well as the Arab nation in all international arenas, particularly the Palestinian cause, the war on terrorism and the rejection of blatant foreign interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
