Bukhari from Dar al Fatwa: KSA keen on Lebanon stability
Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, renewed Saudi Arabia's keenness on Lebanon's stability and the safety of the Lebanese, in remarks made following his meeting with Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdullatif Derian, at Dar-al-Fatwa Wednesday.
During the visit, Bukhari briefed his host on the philanthropic activities Saudi Arabia is offering to the Lebanese as well as to the Palestinians and displaced Syrians in Lebanon.
"The Kingdom is keen on the security, stability and safety of Lebanon and the Lebanese," the Ambassador underlined.
"The Saudis are now hopeful about Lebanon's growth and prosperity after the formation of the Lebanese government led by Prime Minister Saad Hariri," he continued, adding that the lift of the travel ban Saudi Arabia had imposed on its citizens shall yield positive income on the economy and tourism in Lebanon.
"There are preparations for an international Islamic-Christian summit in Lebanon organized by the Muslim World League, under the auspices of President of the Republic Michel Aoun," he indicated.
