GCC Secretary-General attends workshop
Riyadh, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, here today, attended an advanced workshop discussion on patent examination organized by the GCC Intellectual Property Training Center and The Danish Patent and Trademark Office, attended by a number of Saudi employees in the fields of intellectual property and patent examination in the GCC states.
Head of the GCC Intellectual Property Training Center, Iman Al Bader, delivered a speech in which she expressed her thanks for the GCC Secretary-General's support. She also gave a presentation on the training programmes organized by the Center in cooperation with the international patent offices. Praising the cooperation shown by all GCC members, and their participation in the training workshops organized by the Center.
The GCC Secretary-General commended the ongoing efforts of the GCC Patent Office and the Intellectual Property Training Center to enhance cooperation relations with international patent offices, and benefit from their expertise in this vital field. He noted the importance of training and organizing workshops and specialized training courses to improve the capabilities of staff working in this field.
