GIB also participated in the Forum's exhibition, where members of its "meem" team were on hand to share with attendees and customers the power and ease of GIB's e-banking and mobile digital services.
Other topics addressed at the Forum was the need for further investment in technology, how to foster a stronger FinTech ecosystem, legal and regulatory frameworks and the human resources gap that exists in this area
In line with its commitment to further FinTech development, GIB is continuing to build its digital banking platform. Today, through "meem", the Bank already offers a 24/7 service model on its innovative mobile app and web banking portal that allows customers to open and manage their accounts and conduct everyday transactions through online channels. It also offers a range of digital support services such as a video contact centre, e-mail, web chat and social media, making banking with "meem" simple and user friendly.
