HRH Crown Prince Announces Saudi Arabia’s Sponsorship of Restoration of Jakarta Islamic Center

Bali-- Based on the brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Indonesia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister announced the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's sponsorship of the restoration of the Islamic Center in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, following a fire accident last month, which damaged a large part of the Center.

The announcement of HRH the Crown Prince confirms his keenness and interest in Islamic Centers in all brotherly and friendly countries, as they have a significant role in the education of younger generations and the spread of a tolerant Islam, as well as its message based on peace, moderation, and dialogue.

The Jakarta Islamic Center covers an area of 109,435 square meters and consists of many facilities, including a mosque with an area of 2,200 square meters, which accommodates more than 20,000 worshippers, in addition to a research studies center and a conference hall.
