More Syrian refugees return ‘voluntarily’ home from Nabatieh
A number, Syrian refugees started their return journey from Nabatieh, voluntarily" on Thursday morning, bound for Daraa, Al-Sham, and Homs, through Masnaa crossing, NNA field reporter said on Thursday.
The returns are being organised by Lebanon's General Security, and taking place in the presence of UNHCR representatives and the protection unit of Shield Association.
The refugees gathered at pick up points in Nabatieh on Thursday morning to return to their home country. All those registered left, whereas only 6 refrained from leaving.
Vaccinations were also provided by Lebanon's Ministry of Health to all the children returning to Syria.
The returning convoys have been escorted by the Lebanese Army, General Security, and the Red Cross.
