MP Atallah: President’s share in government a constant
MP George Atallah on Monday maintained that the share of the President of the Republic inside the government was one of the Cabinet formation process's constants.
"Any share the President is asking for today is still smaller than that given to former presidents who did not enjoy the same representation as President Michel Aoun," Atallah told an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station.
"The ball is not in the court of Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri," he added.
"The Free Patriotic Movement is not hindering the government formation, but it is demanding to respect the results of the legislative elections and the adoption of a single criterium in the formation of the next Cabinet," he concluded.
