Saudi Arabia Calls For Restraint And Not To Exacerbate The Situation
Baghdad, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called for restraint and not to exacerbate the situation in the region against the background of the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani, and the leader Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and others at dawn today.
A Saudi official source said in a statement quoted by the official Saudi News Agency that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia followed the events in fraternal Iraq, which came as a result of the escalation of tensions and terrorist acts that the Kingdom denounced and warned in the past from their repercussions.
He added that the Kingdom, in light of the rapid developments, calls for the importance of self-restraint to stave off everything that might lead to an exacerbation of the situation.
He stressed that the international community must fulfill its responsibilities to take the necessary measures to ensure the security and stability of this vital region for the whole world.
